From the Office of the City Manager
I would like to formally introduce myself as the new City Manager for this great community. I started on April 2nd and have kept myself busy learning the organization and working closely with Mayor Pereira and staff identifying opportunities for us to continue improving the delivery of city services and taking the time to listen to the concerns that you may have. As I have shared with Mayor Pereira, the City Council and staff, I have an open door policy and like to create and maintain an inclusive working environment that includes you to help identify manageable solutions to the problems that we encounter in performing our jobs. Let me be the first to admit, by allowing staff and I to build a trusting working relationship with you one initiative at a time, this will allow us to work closely with the City Council and appointed boards and commissions in developing effective strategies and partnership opportunities that will enhance the quality of living and investment in our community in the short and long term.
